The Village House Inn is nestled at the foot of the bluffs in historic Winona, Minnesota. Once the site of a brickyard, the home was built over a century ago with red sand pellet bricks that were made from local clay and fired in wood-burning kilns located on the property. Behind the 1870's exterior is a thoughtfully renovated interior which retains the home's architectural charm without sacrificing the comfort of our guest. And since our own friends and family often stay there, we know it's a wonderful place for making memories.

The Village House has four distinctive guest rooms--each with a full bath and views of the surrounding bluffs. The entire main level, including one guest room, is handicap accessible. You may reserve just one guest room for a peaceful retreat or enjoy the privacy of a whole-house rental with family and friends.

Our convenient location offers easy access to Winona State University, St. Mary's University, and downtown Winona. A paved walking path leads under Highway 14 to St. Mary's University campus just across the street where you'll find extensive hiking and cross-country ski trails, an indoor running track, an 18-hole Frisbee golf course, the Page Theater, and St. Mary's athletic fields.
