NEW! We’ll send you and your friends up the river—with a paddle and a kayak that is—for an afternoon of peaceful paddling on the Mississippi backwaters guided by Driftless Adventure Company. Your 3-4 hour tour begins with a quick safety and instructional course before you head off to explore the pristine channels and remote waterways of the Mississippi. Snack and beverage included. Round-trip transportation available.
Return to the Village House for a scrumptious 4-course meal prepared especially for you and your friends by the Blue Heron Coffee House whose commitment to culinary adventurism make them one of Winona’s best-loved restaurants. Linger over dinner and conversation for as long as you like; the entire home is yours until morning. Top out your stay with a visit to the Minnesota Marine Art Museum where you’ll see world-class artwork by Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne, Matisse, and others.
